great work cel shading and the dynamic pose with the motion blur illusion is a fantastic touch! really .... seems much better than anything WB could have come up with. too bad they didn't have awesome aritsts like yourself back in '92. Dizzy might've had a better part in the show, then. :la:

thanks, "seems much better than anything WB could have come up with. too bad they didn't have awesome aritsts like yourself back in '92" i greatly flattered by that comment, i wish i was born in the 60's and 70's so i could have been on tiny toons, gargoyles, and animaniacs lol. WB did have alot of talented artists. when it comes to animation you can't really judge the artists and crew's skills. It comes down more on the producers, time, and the amount of money in the animation production that dictates the quality of a show, you can tell which episodes were rushed and which were refined and perfected, it all comes down to how much money and time they had. Yeah i wish there were more dizzy devil sketches in the show.

there really was no time to put enough effort into all the character design and since they hand drew ever cel, i guess it's unfair to judge their efforts by the show alone, but even so, you've clearly got a better handle on Dizzy than the originals did. :shrug: they totally botched several characters using different animation studios (and probably just should have stuck with outsourcing to Japan) but i guess money and budgeting and time is always a huge factor... :shrug: anyways, yes... i mean your attention to detail with Dizzy's odd proportions and the tornado legs is just... well just how it SHOULD have been. :D if they'd had YOUR model to go by initially, i'll bet they would have anted to invest more time into him. :la:

yeah long story short i wish they outsourced all to japan, but yeah when it comes to animation the smaller the budget the more appealing to wb and disney, and some producers dont give a damn about quality. yeah i think the key to his design which i found odd/hard to get my head around was that his body was basically a huge rounded bloated boomerang, at the same time his initial head is very odd like his back rounds into his eyebrows and hat lol. jessu christ loved that show as a kid lol
